As part of a project to provide a step-by-step guide to the NIKEiD process, Nike allowed me to create a SoccerCleats101 version of whatever boot I wanted. Since, I recently picked up a pair of T90 Strikes for review and knowing there was going to be a new Vapor released, my choice was limited to one boot – the Tiempo Legend. OK, so let me rephrase that and remove the term limited!! Who out there is not a fan of the Tiempo Legend – they are a seriously high performing boot and I was stoked that they were the pair I got to personalize.
I am sure that some of you might have already noticed the colorway I went for. When creating a personalized boot, you go for a style that you are passionate about, and for me it turned out to be the opportunity to create a look that matches the colors of my home country – Ireland. We have seen the US, Mexico and Canadian version, but before creating these, I hadn’t seen an Irish colorway. It is not often you get to create a unique look, and although these are not the best looking design in the world, they carry more than just a visual appeal for me personally.
In order to complete the boot, it needs a colorway – so I am referring to these as a Cloudy White/Shamrock Green/Leprechaun Orange colorway. I think it is a fitting collection that goes nicely with some of the other wacky colorway names we have seen of late!
As for the NikeID process, stay tuned for a full and detailed step-by-step guide, which will be posted in the next week. Until then, check out some of the pre-made designs below that can be used to create your own inspiration. If you do create one, add it to our Facebook Wall for others to see!
WOW what a nice AG ground not a lot of people are brave enough to customize a boot with this ground 🙂
Why AG?
Specifically to test the Nike AG soleplate and see how it actually performs compared to turfs.
they offer options for wide-fit… how much of a difference that will make?
Well, it makes a big difference if you have wide feet! It depends how you fit in the regular fit.
I believe the wide versions don't have a wider sole plate they just have wider upper.
You’ve got to be careful with the K-leather w/ width. It continues to stretch – hence the flywire in the Elites – so unless you have reallllly wide feet… Be careful with buying the wide option on the Legends.
Please, please, please give a thorough review of the AG soleplate.
I'd but this colorway despite not being related to Ireland at all. Great looking boot.
too bad NIKEiD and miadidas do not offer this stuff to canadians
its a real shame
Major miss by both companies. It's a completely untapped market… Fun to play around and see what you can design. I would be ordering a pair from both sites if ever available.
can you please give a review on the AG soleplate.. i'm considering buying an mystic IV with AG soleplate.
How do Tiempo Legend IDs fit compared to the standards? I am a true Nike size 9. IDs have always been difficult because they run big.

A good point but I don't agree with that.. http://essays-tips.com/
