Over the past two weeks, I have been working with Beans from The Original Winger to compile the Best of Boots for 2011. It proved challenging at times and we went back and forth on certain boot position – simply deciding on a boot was difficult, but also having to factor in colorways made it an even tougher task! At one point, we had a list of 24 boots, and trying to get it 10 seemed like it would take a while. As reference, we factored in several different criteria to get to the finished list including overall performance, visuals and the influence each boot imposed on the market.

With that in mind, below I have listed the top ten we finished up with, each links through to a review or relevant article on the colorway. Thoughts on other releases/colorways that should have been included in 2011?
