It feels like a while since we have seen a new colorway release in the Adidas adiPure IV silo – but honestly, seeing this latest edition is very refreshing! Over time, it is pretty easy to separate from a boot and you can forget what they are all about. During testing in January, I became a huge fan of the adiPure and seeing this Black/Metallic Silver colorway brings back memories on how classic and high performing the boots are. So-much-so that I took them out of the box and played in them again this weekend! As good as ever.
The adiPure is a top class performer on the field. In fact, I am not sure if there are actually better boots in terms of performance out there, especially when you factor in comfort. This has always been a main staple of the adiPure range and is what sets this boot apart from others. I took these boots right out of the box and into my first training session with ease. Seeing as this is the fourth release in the adiPure range, and the other three release have been super comfortable, I took a chance and decided not to spend time slowly breaking them in. And it was well worth it as they performed exceptionally well straight away! Adidas has mastered the art of creating a boot that is game ready right off the bat.
And when it comes to design, this release is very slick. The black leather upper offers a very classic look that will match the needs of old-school enthusiasts, while the silver detailing gives the look a modern twist. I am very interested to see them in person (or in game) to see exactly how the black and silver mesh together.
If you decide to pick up a pair, you can get them for right now for around $150.
Pretty boring
I think I am getting a pair when the price goes down.
I have a question about the super giveaway later this year.
Can you win multiple times?
Love it Brian, great review and great boots. But why does the plastic underside always come away from the leather at the toe? Been through 3 pairs now and always the same problem. Maybe it's down to my persitant toe poking technique though!!!!
because there is nothing connecting the upper to the soleplate
There is nothing better than a pair of classy looking cleats. Just love the all black boot with the three white or, in this case, silver stripes. Just wish I had the money to upgrade from full-grain to kangaroo leather.
