A new Pink colorway has been released in the Puma V1.11 range in collaboration with the Project Pink initiative. I know there are plenty of you out there that like the idea of pink footwear, and the fact that these boots benefit such a worthy cause will make them more appealing. It will take a brave player to actually wear them. Project Pink is a program designed to raise funds and awareness towards breast cancer through collaboration with some of the world’s best soccer players! And, yes, these boots are available to buy for $179.99.
But be warned, these boots are truly pink – as in in “pretty” pink! Knowing the cause these have been released for, I would have no problem wearing them in a game. The boot is in itself a solid performer, having recently tested the V1.11, I can tell you that the lightweight nature of the boot suited my game and I found them to be an effective tool when it came to acceleration. The one area of concern is the boot’s size and shape, which might cause issues for some players. But those players who find them to be effective will experience a fantastic match and a high performer.
For those of you eager to see the boots in-game, keep an eye on the top MLS games this weekend – several US national team players will be sporting them. Voting for Project Pink also kicked off last week, so all votes are appreciated! If you use Twitter, Puma are getting very close to 25,000 Tweets with #projectpink so spread the love that way also!
The Puma V1.11 Pink is available to buy at soccer.com for $179.99.
is there gonna be a sl version of this?
really liking the colour here man!
If I didn’t have my Vapors already, I would definitely be getting them. Different color, and it’s for a good cause.
Great idea, Puma.
Hi Brian, you said the toe box of V series is stitched to the bottom so it's raised, will this cause problem on goalkick/long clears?or mainly prevent toe chips?thanks
One of my teammates has these and can kick the ball 60-70 yards no problem and says the cleats are great.
