Puma has unleashed their latest indoor soccer shoe, the Puma Speed Star, which takes some strong inspiration from the lightweight Faas running range (“Faas” translates to “Fast” in Jamaica). The Speed Star is designed to allow players to bolt from one end of the court to the other at lighting speed. Whether you’re a pro, a pick-up player, or a college athlete, with the Speed Star, you’ll know you’re at your absolute best.
So, how light are these? They weigh in at a very competitive 8.6oz, which is extremely light for an indoor shoe! In comparison, the Nike5 Lunar Gato weighs 10.4oz, while the Adidas F10 weighs 9.6oz. Adding to that, the one-piece, abrasion-resistant, technical upper is not only lightweight, but also ensures durability, so it performs as hard as you do in game – and through way more than just a few tough tackles.
The initial rollout features several different colorway designs – so there is plenty of options to choose from. All of the above shoes are available, but the New Navy/Fluo Orange/PUMA Silver colorway is my preferred in the range. They look sharp and the combo of colors used offers something different to the market.
Bryan, can I pull these off even if I don't play futbol?? http://www.beso.com
Absolutely – they are the ideal Zillan walking/wear to the office shoe!
Bryan, do you plan on doing a review for these?
Just confirmed with Puma that a pair are en-route for review
Aww man…just bought the Street Gatos and then they come out with these. Oh well
