This is a release I have been looking forward to for a while – the all new Puma V1.11 SL, a boot built around raw speed. At 5.6oz, the V1.11 SL is built for players who want that little extra acceleration in their game. This latest release is slightly heavier than the V1.10 SL, at 5.6oz compared to 5.3oz, but it still ranks as an ultra lightweight boot!
The initial rollout comes in 2 colorways; a White/Black/Dresden Blue and a Fluo Green/Midnight Navy, with the White version being my preferred choice – loving the slick, clean look.
I have stated on several occasions that the V1.10 SL is one of my preferred boots as they suit my game to a tee, so getting this new version into review is a must! The microfiber upper on this release seems to have more texture and grooves, which will give them a little more grip on the ball. Puma are also introducing a new last that offers a slightly wider fit – something that I will cover once I get them into testing.
On another positive note, Puma has increased the available sizes in the range, with players upto a 12.5US having the opportunity to wear a pair. The only problem (again) is the actual sizing – I can only imagine they fit a full size small, but I won’t know for sure until I get them into review. Stay tuned for more info!
The K-leather version of this looks especially tastey. Something to compete with the Adipure SL.
