Having just reviewed the Nike Vapor VII, I thought it would be worth posting some images to give you a comparison of how they compare to their predecessor, the Vapor VI.
The biggest differences lie in the aesthetic design of both boots, with the newer Vapor VII having a more striking look. Plus the removal of the lace cover is pretty evident and a welcome change in my opinion! But, you will also notice from the close-up of the front region of each boot that the Vapor VII has a smoother angle into the toe, whereas the Vapor VI has a more rounded look. These allows for a more snug fit along the top of your toes.
If you looking for more information on each boot check out the reviews – Vapor VII review and the Vapor VI review. In terms of buying, you are going to find better value with the Vapor VI since they have been on the market longer. Prices vary depending on the colorway, with the Cactus/Anthracite colorway currently best priced at $145. The Vapor VII are currently full price since they are new to the market, around $199 for the Red Plum colorway.
VAPOR 7 OWNS EVERYTHING!
they're the best cleats i ever knew ;o
i love them i love them i love them!
Hey Bryan if my vapor vi was a very snug fit(my toes just about touching the tips) what should I get in the vii’s??
I wore a 9 in both and they both worked out well, so I would stick with what you ordered in the Vapor VI
Bryan I have a question
What cleat I’d better a F50 leather cleat or a Synthetic F50 adizero cleat
It depends what you are looking for. Leather have better touch and control, while the Synthetic offer better waterproof and durability.
in your opinion whats the fastest way to break in vapors? ive been doing some practicing in my newer pair and they are still giving some killer blisters
They can definitely offer a tougher break in period than your regular boots! I recommend taking plenty of time to break them in, and maybe consider a pair of CleatSkins like I used for my Superfly's http://www.soccercleats101.com/2011/05/19/breakin…
wear them around your house
Hi, how do vapor VII’s run compared to talaria V’s?
7 are better, tried em, not much diff, but good.
Hi there, I was wondering, –
I tried the vapor vi in my local sports shop and it was a good fit, my foot is slightly broad and i was wondering if there was any change between the vi and the vii in width? I tried the adizero f50's and they were very snug, and i wouldn't be comfortable in them, comparing to the adizero's are they much of the same width? thanks
There is some slight difference, including the height through the front of the upper – the VII is designed to fit closer to the top of your foot. But otherwise, they are very similar!
