In true Adidas style, a new blackout version of the adiPure IV has been released! This all-black version comes in a listed Black/Black/Predator Gold colorway and is sure to fill the appetite of many players looking for a simple, no-nonsense release in the adiPure IV range. We are pretty familiar with blackout releases from Adidas, and they all seem to grasp pretty positive feedback. A Blackout Predator X turned out to be very successful earlier this year, while about a year ago there was a Blackout version of the adiPure III that still sits atop my list of favored releases.
There is a quiet unique look about this release, primarily because of the stitching across the front of the boot. This stitching serves a valuable purpose, intended to allow for an optimal fit between your foot and the upper. Having tested the adiPure IV, I can tell you that they are a boot designed to elevate your game! The K-Leather upper offers great touch on the ball and they are an optimal choice for any player looking for an all round, high performing boot. However, I am not personally sold on this release. I think it is the dark upper matched with the unusual stitching that makes the boot less appealing.
As a final note, I find the use of Predator Gold in the colorway to be very interesting. Any chance that Adidas are trying to implant a hidden message about their next big release? Hmmmmm…….What are your thoughts on the release?
I personally like the adipure 3's in all black better. Hopefully Adidas releases the new predator soon, can't wait to get the SL!!
The AdiPowers come out 6/1, which are pretty much the Predators with the Sprint Frame sole. So you have the power you get from the Preds, but in a sweet lightweight package. I'm excited for those.
And Adidas also released a all blacked out pair of F50s that are planned to come out sometime this summer.
They are already have them on soccer.com. http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Me…
