Not quiet the Academy Awards (which I have been enjoying today – loved Kirk Douglas piece) but I recently received the 2011 Best or Website Award compliments of the highly regarded SPY awards. It is the first award SC101 has received and I am very honored to accept the award. It has been a pretty amazing year and this award to start 2011 makes things more exciting!
The biggest thanks (other than to my wonderful/patient wife) goes out to you the readers – without you guys, the site does not exist. I appreciate all your comments and feedback. And, I have actually started to familiarize myself with some of the regulars (you know who you are!) To celebrate the award, there will be plenty of giveaways in the next few weeks!

Hey Bryan it is more than deserved for your dedication to this amazing website. I have never missed a post of yours, and every day before I login to my school I have to check out your site even if it means that I don't have time to post anything. Honestly too there is not another site that delivers the most in depth reviews of soccer equipment. Another thing that I appreciate is that, almost like a smal town buisness, you take that extra time to respond to any comments that we have and constantly have giveaways as an act of gratitude.
