Now that the Adidas adiPure IV has hit the market, we are going to see its predecessor the adiPure III go down in price and availability. One of the most common questions I get is whether someone should go for the new version or the old version? Having tested both boots, I can tell you that they are some of the best boots on the market and really don’t differ too much in terms of performance and fit. My advice with the adiPure range is to look for the boot that offers best value for money to you. If you have money to spend, the newest version might be your choice but if you are on a budget the adiPure III is a bargain!
Deciding which design you like best is also going to play a role in your decision, as both releases have very different looks. The adiPure III has a more modern look compared to the old-school adiPure IV. Is off-centered lacing (as seen on the adipure III) or centered lacing (adiPure IV) important?
Either way, both versions of the adiPure offer exceptional quality and value for money. At its highest price, the adiPure III was priced at $139 but you can get a great deal on a pair right now $88, or even better $79 if you currently have Soccer.com’s Goal Club.
If I was making the decision right now, I would go for the adiPure III as the price and value just can’t be beaten! You are getting one of the best boots on the market for an absolute steal. In saying that, if you are looking for the latest release, you are not going to be disappointing by the adiPure IV.
