Without much build-up (well for Nike anyway) we are only one day away from a brand new boot release – the Nike CR7 Safari. Officially released on Thursday 10/28, the soccer cleats have been designed with one player in mind, one Cristiano Ronaldo. In the past few weeks Ronaldo has been in scintillating form, which is of course perfect timing for the release of the new CR7 Safari. Last weekend he scored 4 goals in Real Madrid’s win versus Racing Santander.
One thing is for sure, we are in store for something completely different. If you have seen any of the advertising promo images, you will have noticed that it seems like the release will have some sort of a unique mesh like pattern, maybe leopard skin like? I am simply going off what I have seen so far, so I could be completely wrong about how the soccer cleats will look. What do you think we are going to see?

Check out the promo video below released by Nike that shows the boots on their way from Portland to Madrid – in other words they are en-route to Cristiano! I enjoy how top secret they make the release seem.
