Since the release of the Puma V1.10 Kehinde Wiley, there have been an additional 3 releases in the Puma V1.10 range. And the new versions look pretty good compared to the initial yellow release! Puma have been quick to increase the number of options in the range, banking on the fact that more exposure will allow them to grasp a larger share of the market And in a World Cup year, that is not such a bad idea. A few months back, we reviewed the Puma V1.10, and although we did not find them to be the most comfortable cleat on the market, we still found them to offer great quality and performance.
My one piece of advice, if you decide to purchase a pair, is to order a size up. These cleats fit tight, especially around the heel area. You will find fast players like Sanuel Eto’o and Nicolas Anelka wearing these, and also Peter Crouch, showing that these cleats have a wide appeal in the soccer world. If you want to see these boots in action, keep an eye on the African Cup of nations, where Puma have really centered their marketing focus!
The latest round of releases come in 3 colors (click on image to enlarge):
- White/Black/PUMA Red
- Team Gold/Black/PUMA Red
- Black/Black/PUMA Red
Right now, you can get your hands on a pair of FG’s for $199.99.
i was wondering whether you could review the k-leather v1.10's cause they look really nice but i was wondering whether the leather was very good quality or not.
I just purchased the puma v1.10 k i fg cleats and to answer your question is that the leather is a good quality but it is a little bit thin and the cleats when braking in are very stiff, but over all they are by far the best cleats i have ever owned
