Big Sam-Making changes at Blackburn

It seems that this season in the Premier League, changing managers is all that is needed to change things around! First, there was the sacking of Juande Ramos at Spurs. After 8 games and only 2 points, Harry Redknapp made the jump from Portsmouth to Spurs. Since the transition, Harry has helped the team gain 17 points from 10 games. Then there is Newcastle and Joe Kinnear, 18 points from his 13 games in charge as interim coach. But it is the fact that Newcastle have only lost 1 game in the last 9 that is most impressive. And what about Sunderland? Roy Keane left after the the team found itself in the relegation zone. Enter interim manager Ricky Sgrabia, 4-0 and 4-1 results, and Sunderland are moving back up the table in the right direction. This weekend saw Paul Ince’s manager seat taken by Big Sam Allerdyce, who managed to transform10 games without a victory into a 3-0 home win versus Stoke. Not a bad start for the new Blackburn boss! So, who is next? It could easily be Mark Hughes who now sees his Man City team sit in the relegation zone even though they have the talented Robinho attacking from the front line!

Focusing on Sunderland for a minute, the strike partnership of Djibril Cisse and Kenwyne Jones could be exactly what cissethe Wearsiders need for survival. In there last two games, Cisse has scored twice while Jones has bagged 3 goals. Cisse, in particular has an interesting history with socer cleats! He currently wears a pair of Adidas F50.8 TUNIT – Red/White/Orange, but believe it or not, he has been known to mix and match his cleats. For intance, take a look at his choice of cleats while playing for France versus Mexico in 2006. Very interesting! But I guess when you take into consideration Cisse’s choice of haircuts it all makes sense! With the F50.8 coming in many different styles, it is all about choosing the style that matches you. Cisse like the red Tunit, and it goes well with his Sunderland kit. The Tunit features semi-clear, 3-D heel/bottom unit for stability, flexibility and a cool look. It also has an innovative lace cover for fit and increased strike zone. Featuring a synthetic Agion antimicrobial lining that stops odors, bacterial and fungal growth, it also includes new exchangeable TUNIT Standard Comfort Chassis for solid support.
