adidas has added a new boot to the Women’s Limited Collection with the release of ACE 17.1 ANJA. Named after the first-ever women’s soccer boot, the ANJA carries on a tradition with a women’s-specific fit and a creamy soft, pearl white k-leather upper for optimal comfort and control. It is also a part of the new Shimmer Pack that has been meticulously designed for the women’s game.
Built using the Ace 17 mould, the boot is designed with a built in tongue and a pull tab on the heel to help slip your foot in. The upper features strategic stitching across the k-leather upper to add support and allow the material to stretch over time. Underfoot a Total Control outsole with re-engineered stud design has been added specifically to provide extra stability and traction for women. Finally, to add a classic feel, adidas has added an iconic blue patch right on the top of the tongue with a signature 3-stripe logo and ANJA text.
There are only limited numbers of this release available, so it is unlikely they will hang around too long, even with their $220 price tag.
