The latest colorway in the Nike T90 Laser III range to be released comes in a Black/White/Electric Green. After all the extremely colorful Nike releases in the past few weeks, this basic black cleat will be welcomed by many who want something a little more basic. The addition of green detailing around the boot adds just enough color to create a tasty new look.
Personally, I am all for the design. It holds a classic black look, yet the green adds a retro feel. After testing the T90 Laser III I can tell you that they are a boot designed for the power player. The Elite version also give you the benefits of a lightweight (8.2oz) without losing any of the boots key attributes. I found they were slightly tough to break in, primarily because of the carbon fiber soleplate, but once you have these boots broken in they really sync to your feet. The upper is made of a textured Teijen microfiber that allows for good touch and feel on the ball.
I spotted Wayne Rooney wearing them yesterday (seen below), as he started 2011 in excellent form. I am sure Nike will be hoping he starts finding the form that allowed them to use him as a key advertising tool last season. If he can find his finishing touch again in this black/green colorway, there is sure to be an increase in the numbers of boots jumping off the shelves!
hi brian
i am a mid fielder and run a lot but i also want power in my shots since i shot long distance i was thinking these or the black and orange mercurials. which one do u think i should get?
@Edgar,
These boots are going to be a much better option if you want to focus on shooting!
I play right/left back, do you think these would be good for that position? Are they comfortable and durable?
when are you going to review the nike total 90 laser iii elite WC? or the total 90 elite boot? or even the WC series
brian, are these boots comfortable? or do they often give u blisters? i position is CDM so should i buy these or predator x?
Hi Brian,
I was wondering if I should get these or the nike mercurial superfly III I am a midfielder but i sometimes play striker please help
@Faisal
It depends on your foot shape. They were slightly uncomfortable around the little toe region. Other than that a good boot.
